How to STudy the Bible by R.A. Torrey.



Wanting to learn about Christianity is one thing. But trying to go about it can be somewhat confusing. Torrey explains the point of starting with the New Testament and trying to learn what we can from the study of the book itself, rather than learning about all of the tradition and issues surrounding it.



Sometimes, the best guide to a text is the text itself. Torrey explains how best to do this. THis is standard good place to start for those young in the faith or who have an interst in Historic Christianity. For the record, the New Testament was written in ancient Greek. Torrey was fluent in ancient Greek, so that helps.
